Where hand embroidery works is the smaller, closer list: 20 to 50 guests, close family, the people who travelled to be there. At Rs 400 to Rs 700 a piece, embroidered socks sit exactly in the range most families budget for that group, and they are one of the few things at that price that is genuinely made by hand rather than moulded in a factory.

What we suggest: embroidered socks at Rs 400 to 700, with sunflowers, roses, tulips, mushrooms and wildflowers stitched onto soft cotton, wrapped simply so they read as considered rather than cheap. Embroidered denim caps at Rs 1,000 to 1,350 for the VIP tier, meaning close family, the wedding party, and the people who did the work.

Lead time is the real constraint. Everything is stitched by hand by women artisans in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and volume does not speed that up, it only spreads it across more hands. Tell us your guest count and your event date before anything else and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible. For weddings in the October to December season, start at least eight weeks ahead.
