How they are made

Every glyph is worked by hand by women artisans in our Bulandshahr studio. The thread is knotted through the weave rather than sitting on the surface like a patch, so it will not peel or lift. Because a person stitches each one, no two come out identical.

Are these hand-embroidered or machine-made?

Hand-embroidered, every one. Stitched by a person rather than a digitised file on a multi-head machine, which is the reason the lines sit a little differently on each cap.

How long does delivery take?

Made to order and shipped across India in 5 to 7 days. For a birthday, order at least two weeks ahead so the stitching is not rushed.

How should I wash an embroidered cap?

Spot clean only. Do not machine wash, because the cycle deforms the brim long before it affects the thread.
