We have more than a hundred hand-embroidered t-shirts on the site. That is great for us and slightly annoying for you. Scrolling a long grid of sunflowers, snakes and alien cows is not how anyone picks a shirt they will wear for years.

So here is the shortcut. Three questions, one tap each. The answer is a real tee from the studio, not a personality type.

What your three answers actually decide

The quiz is light, but each question maps to a real decision that changes how a hand-embroidered tee looks and wears.

White or black changes how thread reads

On white cotton, fine lines and soft colours show clearly, so delicate florals and small single motifs work well. On black, bright thread jumps forward and pale shades glow, so a small motif carries further and big designs look bolder than the same design on white. Quiet or loud is really about placement

Quiet tees put a small motif on the chest or collar. They layer under jackets and overshirts and pass in a smart-casual office. Loud tees use the full front or the whole back, where there is room for a scene. Back embroidery is the boldest choice of all, because the shirt looks plain from the front and the story only shows as you turn. Our placement guide shows every option on one shirt.

Nature or strange is the mood

Most of what we stitch comes from gardens, fields and animals, because thread is very good at petals, feathers and fur. Then there is the strange shelf: alien cows, devil cupids, worms in apples. Both are made the same way, by hand, on the same heavy cotton. The only question is whether you want people to say that's beautiful or wait, what is that.

The two questions we did not ask

A note on fit

Every tee in this quiz is cut oversized from heavy 220 GSM cotton, which is heavy enough to carry dense thread without sagging at the neck. If you are between sizes, our oversized fit guide will save you a return.
